The Management
Board of Directors EDWARD D. STONE, JR. Edward D. Stone, Jr., FASLA, became a Director of the Company in 1999 and is currently involved with the Company's corporate development. Mr. Stone is Founder and current Chairman of EDSA, a worldwide leader in the Planning and Landscape Architecture industry. Mr. Stone is a graduate of the Harvard University Graduate School of Design and Yale University School of Architecture. He has served as a Captain and fighter pilot in the United States Air Force. Three U.S. Presidents appointed Mr. Stone to the Commission of Fine Arts: in 1971 by President Nixon, President Ford in 1976 and President Carter in 1980. Mr. Stone's American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA) achievements include the following: Chairman of the National Awards Committee; Chairman of the Task Force of Professional Practice; Landscape Architecture Federation, Board of Directors; Landscape Architecture Foundation, Vice President; Executive Committee of the Board of Trustees; and Trustee, Florida Chapter. Mr. Stone was elected a Fellow of the ASLA in 1974 and, in 1994, was awarded the ASLA Medal, the society's highest honor. DR. GEORGE GOOD Dr. George Good is currently a professor at Cornell University in Ithaca, New York, in the Department of Horticulture, where he has taught for 35 years. Dr. Good received his PhD and Masters Degrees from Cornell University after completing undergraduate work at Ohio State University. In addition to his service to Cornell, Dr. Good is extensively published in the horticulture field. Dr. Good's achievements include the following: Hall Of Fame Award, New York State Nurserymen's Association, 1978; 1979-80 Professor of Merit Award, New York State College of Agriculture and Life Sciences, Cornell University; Norman J. Colman Research Award, American Association of Nurserymen, 1985; Gold Medal of Horticulture Award, New York State Nursery/Landscape Association, 1997 RICHARD D. CENTOLELLA Mr. Centolella currently serves as Secretary/Treasurer for PlantFind, and is a Principal at EDSA, a world-renown Planning and Landscape Architecture firm. Mr. Centolella joined EDSA in 1985 after graduating from SUNY College of Environmental Science and Forestry at Syracuse University with a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture. Mr. Centolella also holds an Associates Degree in Applied Science in Nursery Management from the State University of New York at Cobleskill. During the past 18 years at EDSA, Mr. Centolella has been responsible for in-house staffing of 15 and coordinated up to a dozen sub-consultants on projects with site work construction budgets approaching $80 million. Most recently, Mr. Centolella has been assigned to run EDSA's Santa Monica Office. In addition, Mr. Centolella was EDSA's project manager for almost $1 billion in construction with Kerzner International (NYSE). These projects include: Atlantis Resort and Casino - $140 million dollar project, Mohegan Sun Resort - $275 million, and the Royal Towers at Atlantis - $450 million. RICHARD (DICK) MCGUIRE Richard (Dick) McGuire has over 35 years of experience in intergovernmental and corporate agricultural affairs. In 1989, the Governor of the State of New York, Mario Cuomo, appointed him to be the Commissioner of Agriculture and Markets, his tenure lasting until 1995. In 1995, his peers elected him as Vice-President of the National Association of Departments of Agriculture. In 1998, Mr. McGuire was also the Senior Agricultural Consultant for Key Bank Corp. From 1985-1987, he was a Special Legislative Liaison charged with the task of negotiating with the United States Government on behalf of the Farm Credit Service and other similar entities. Mr. McGuire also served as one of 22 members of the Board of Directors of the American Farm Bureau (1972-1984). During his tenure there, he was appointed to the six-member Executive Committee of the American Farm Bureau, where he was Legislative Affairs Liaison, and responsible for briefing the President of the United States annually on the agricultural industry. Mr. McGuire was President of the New York State Farm Bureau from 1970-1984, and President of the Farm Family Insurance Company from 1980-1985. Prior to his tenure as President, he also served as Director of the Farm Bureau. Mr.McGuire's' experience extends beyond the U.S. agricultural industry, having been selected by President Jimmy Carter in 1977 to represent the United States on the Agricultural Advisory team to the Geneva General Agreement on Tariffs and Trade (GATT) negotiations. He was only one of six farmers chosen to consult and advise the USSR on agriculture and trade in 1979. PETER E. COSTICH Peter E. Costich has played a critical role in the development stages of PlantFind and that role has carried over to his appointment to the PlantFind Board of Directors. Mr. Costich joined PlantFind in 1999 bringing 47 years of experience in the Green Industry. Mr. Costich has helped to keep PlantFind in the forefront of e-business by using his unparalleled industry knowledge to develop key Green Industry alliances. Mr. Costich's areas of expertise include sales, management, business and product development, and networking in the Green/ Horticulture industry. He currently has projects in progress in the Northeast and Southern U.S. as well as three separate projects in Southern Turkey. From 1961-1999, Mr. Costich was the Founder and President of Horticultural Materials System Inc. (HMS). He continues to serve as a special consultant for implementation of buy/sell agreements, appraising nursery stock and mergers and acquisitions evaluations. Mr. Costich graduated from Dartmouth College in 1947 with a Bachelor's Degree in Political and Economic Studies. Frank C. Ferraro, Jr. Frank C. Ferraro, Jr. has over 29 years in the Green Industry. Currently, Mr. Ferraro is Branch Manager of South-East Florida for ValleyCrest, the nation's largest landscape and site-construction company. Prior to that, he was the Construction Manager for Tropics North, a South-East Florida based Landscape Construction and Maintenance company. Before joining Tropics, Frank was the General Manager for TruGreen LandCare in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he was responsible for managing several million dollars in maintenance contracts. The TruGreen LandCare Co. whose landscape division maintained property valued in excess of $600 million dollars. From 1992 to 1998 Frank was an Area Manager for Brickman Industries with the responsibility of managing maintenance on five IBM corporate locations, and was responsible for more than doubling revenues. From 1983 to 1992 he was the General Manager for Ferarro Landscaping Company. Frank also served on the Advisory Board at S.U.N.Y. Cobleskill Ag & Tech from 1984 to 1990 where he received an AAS in Landscape Production and Sales. He holds a BS in Landscape Construction and Architecture from Mississippi State University.
